A new generation tanker
World's 1st zero-emission all-electric tanker "Asahi" launched in Japan. By replacing the conventional engine with an electric motor drive, we will reduce the burden on the global environment and improve the work environment of the crew at the same time. In addition, we designed the interior of the ship, where maintainability and functionality were the first priority, as a space where you can relax like your own home. To improve communication between crew members and ensure privacy, we have a dining room with an atrium where you can feel each other's signs and a large bookshelf where you can bring your favorite books. In order to make this initiative known to the world, "Asahi" will start her operation as a new symbol of Tokyo Bay with an exterior that expresses the passion of Asahi Tanker.
